Cath Minter MSc
Founder & Principal Medical Herbalist
Cath has had the privilege of working as a medical herbalist clinician for over 30 years in communities in Australia and Scandinavia.
Cath holds a Master's of Science and has completed post graduate studies in Integrative Oncology. She heads the clinical team for Newcastle's Integrative Oncology Naturopathic Clinic at Hygea - working to provide patients with safe naturopathic options during medical oncology care, providing post treatment recovery and longevity care.
Cath also cares for a busy general healthcare clinic where she specialises in Women's Healthcare and the peri-menopause, menopause transition - dovetailing in with breast, ovarian, uterine cancer prevention care.
Cath is the recipient of several awards for her achievements both clinically and academically including the national ATMS Practitioner of the Year 2024-2025 and Australia's Simon Schot Education Grant. She was also a Finalist in Copenhagen's business awards 2014 celebrating clinical excellence with her GP husband

Cath is the principal clinician for Newcastle and the Hunter's Integrative Naturopathic Oncology Clinic at Hygea and with her team, support patients as they navigate the complexities of their medical oncology treatment and post treatment recovery.
Her area of integrative oncology is the Naturopathic Medicine and Herbal Medicine arm of this clinical adjunctive care - the care that runs alongside standard medical oncology treatment.
