Hygēa's Ethos
We advocate and protect wholistic earth centered medicine, bioregional medicine, medicine and plants that are grown organically and wildcrafted, harvested, dried and prepared to make medicines with the highest medicinal integrity. In our lab we make herbal extracts, tinctures, infused oils, cough syrups, salves / ointments and suppositries, along with our vibrant herbal medicine tisane blends.
We source high grade over the counter and clinical practitioner supplements and herbal medicines that meet our ethics and high standards. We are not your average 'health food shop' and don't stock everything - on purpose.
OFFERINGS
We offer personalised care, health education and guidance from our acute care apothecary or booked 1:1 care in the clinical setting.
We integrate traditional knowledge with modern science and modern day herbalism/naturopathic practice. We pay homage to the traditional healing arts, bringing sacred and science into the healing process.
OUR SUPPLIERS
Combining over 60 years of clinical experience and medicine making, we know our current industry and the natural healthcare landscape. We have built many relationships with small business producers, suppliers, growers, from where we source our botanical medicines. We uphold the value of sustainability and the care for the earth that is needed after the medicine are grown and harvested, and care for the people that maintain the ethical practices of growing and harvesting.
